About Cynthia

I have resided in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 30 years, and with those years, I have had to opportunity to know and grow with the area.  I have had the awsome pleasure of raising my three adult children in the area and sending them to outstanding Virginia colleges.   I also met my husband, of almost twenty years, right here in the Washington, DC metrpolitan area.  Fun Fact:  I am originally from a city in Pennsylvania known as the "snowiest city" in the United States according to Golden Snow Globe's Top 25 Snowiest Cities in the U.S.--have fun guessing which city! 

When I am relaxing, I like to spend time traveling, mainly by cruise ship, and also by venturing in weeklong vacations exploring many of the Caribbean islands.  I also, enjoy event planning as it gives me the opportunity to bring celebrations of all kinds, to life.   Through my vision, I utilize the beauty of design elements and an array of heartfelt touches that will have life-lasting memories when designing for life's special occassions. 

I am best known for my ability to connect with just about everyone.  People are my passion and where I draw energy.  Since I was a child, I have always taken an interest in people, wanting to connect with them through our common interests, and connecting by learning something new from every person I encounter. 

I am very lucky to have all my adult children located in the area, as this allows for us to gather as a family, on holidays, special occasions or just simply having a Sunday dinner together.  I have one pet, a feline named, Dusty.  Dusty is the center of our family; he too loves to share in our family celebrations- such as when opening gifts, he gets tremendous enjoyment from frolicking and romping in gift-wrap paper--it's a sight to see!
